Media Center
Welcome to the Media Center and MakerSpace at Trinity Intermediate School, where learners are inspired to read for recreation, to use reliable resources for collaborative research projects, and to extend and apply what they are learning in their classrooms through a variety of activities.
Learners have access to a broad collection of print books, which they will check out during their weekly Library class. Additionally, SORA, which is an app on the Classlink Dashboard, offers eBooks and audiobooks from both the school district and the Washington County Public Library System.
While in the space, students work to meet a variety of Common Core Standards. Additionally, standards from the American Association of School Librarians, which focus on information literacy and encouraging students to "Think, Create, Share, and Grow," will also be phased in over the course of this school year.
